Today I want to share a cute card I made the other day. I was making it for the step 3 of CASometry challenge. Such type of cards are hard for me to make. I’m just crazy about current trend of cute animals and critters, but it’s just not my style. Not that I do not like them. I do, a lot. But I just never know how to make them. My crafting style is overthinking things, working a lot with techniques etc. When it comes to cute buddies – their designs are so awesome, that there is nothing left for me to do except stamp and color them. So I don’t do these cards very often. But still have some stamps on hand to choose from. For this card I decided to use one of my favorite – Three Amigos from Mama Elephant. They remind me those pets wall of shame pictures that are all over the Internet 😉
So here is my card. It’s time to start making winter holiday cards, so here is my first one this year. I put three amigos into winter scene. They’re wearing Santa coats and hats (which I borrowed from penguins set also from Mama Elephant).
The sky is made with Distress inks, added falling snow with stencil and embossing paste. Added a sparkling embossing powder on the top of embossing one to add some winter shine.
And there are some dimension in this card.

It’s a cutie eventhough it’s not your usual style. I actually do like all the critter stamps but just don’t use them very often cause of the colouring part.

Thank you , Pia! I’m OK with coloring but often when have no time – can reject a card just if it needs some coloring.
