Hello!
Today I wanna share a simple cozy winter card made for Wplus9 Throwback Thursday. The idea is to create a card using supplies bought a while ago. Well, I can name at least the half of my stash like this lol. And Wplus9 takes a significant part of my stash.
I took one of my favorite stamps and created a holiday card, inspired by the third card Maureen showed. Liked the idea of busy stamped card base and a clean panel.
My took of it is a “sweater” background and adorable mittens on the panel.I stamped the card base using Fair Isle Backgrounds with three colors of inks, creating some kind of gradient. Added buttons on the card base, to make it look more like a sweater lol. The front panel was “stitched” using a die from MFT Blueprints 13. It adds more coziness to this cozy design. Stamped the mittens (from Winter Wishes stamps set) also in gradient way. And added a sentiment at the end.
This is my second winter card this year and I’ll do more and more going toward December. I miss winter SO MUCH! Or at least fall, which I also love. Everything but summer, please!
I like these Wplus9 Throwback Thursdays challenges. Definitely is a challenge that I want to participate in future! So many of my stamps are crying without inks.
Do you like using older supplies or prefer working with new designs?
Thank you for stopping by!
