CARD

To showcase this product I decided to execute one of my favorite technique – white embossed no masking background.

Messy Watercolored Carnations Background. Card by Svitlana Shayevich

No masking is an operative word in this technique. When we create a background using embossing powder there is no need to do masking for overlapping elements – you can simply brush off the powder from the overlapped areas. I embossed the carnations onto the Altenew watercolor panel.

After creating the background I performed a messy watercoloring using the Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I was simply wetting each element and adding watercolor pigment onto it, letting it flow freely. Then I also was extending the color outside of an element.

Next I added some splatters onto the background.

Then I wrapped a burlap twine around the watercolored panel tying a bow in the left part and foam mounted it onto a Parchment card base.

Lastly I popped up the sentiment made using the Bold Thanks Die Set.
