FALL WATERCOLOR STENCILED BACKGROUND

The new Leaf Bed Stencil is probably my favorite from this release. And it works great for fall cards, which are in season now.

First I made a quick messy watercolor background using liquid Watercolor Markers Refills on a watercolor paper. And then I blended Firebrick Dye Ink onto the background through the Leaf Bed Stencil.

Then I torn the panel top and bottom edges and layered it onto a torn stripes n a orange and brown cardstock. Followed by tying a twine around this layered piece. Which then got foam mounted onto a white card base.

Lastly I popped up the sentiment and added several enamel dots.

POINSETTIA CHRISTMAS CARD

For my second card I used the new Stripe Builder Stencil. Simple but essential one for holiday card. I mean – a candy cane striped background screams festiveness, right?

I made the background using this stencil and Ruby Red Dye Ink, added a Ruby Red Spray splatters, wrapped a bakers twine around it and foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

Then I created the poinsettia using the Poinsettia 3D Die Set and popped it up onto the card. To create the poinsettia I first made a quick watercolor wash onto a watercolor paper, die cu the flower layers out of it, blended Ruby Red Ink on top and sprinkled with Ruby Red Ink Spray. Then I stacked all layers using a liquid adhesive.

Lastly I added the Fancy Peace Die die cut on top.
