Hello and welcome to Altenew Build-A-Flower: Sweet Violet Release Blog Hop. It’s the first day of the month and in Altenew world it means a new Build-A-Flower set.
This month it’s very beautiful Sweet Violet.
You probably came from Kristina Pokazanieva blog. If not – you may consider starting from the beginning at Altenew Card Blog and see what other members of Altenew design team and guest designers have created. There are so many beautiful projects from talented designers. Also you on each stop you you have a chance to win a prize.
My first idea for a card with this set was to use violet colors. But then I decided to to with pinks and blues for the flowers.
I stamped the pink flowers using the Cotton Candy, Corral Berry and Ruby Red Dye Inks. For blue ones I used new blues – Azurite, Ultramarine and Eastern Sky. Leaves were stamped using the Moss, Olive, Parrot and Bamboo inks. After stamping I die-cut all elements using the matching dies.
I made a panel out of a Woodgrain White Cardstock and gradually inked it using the Moss and Olive Dye Inks.
Next I adhered all elements onto it. And then adhered the panel onto a white card base.
I white embossed a sentiment onto a Jet Black cardstock using stamps from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set. Then I cut out the sentiment using my scissors and popped onto the card.
Lastly I added several Onyx Crystals.
