Simon Says Stamp | Fun & Festive – Hidden Sentiment

Hope you’re doing great. The new Simon Says Stamp release Fun & Festive went live just now. You can find a lot of fun supplies in this release.

I want to share you a simple card made using the new die from the release – You’re So Kind. It’s a cute die that die-cuts a label-like sentiment. I decided to hide it in a watercolor floral cluster.

First I white embossed a floral cluster using stamps from the SSS Artful Flowers Stamp Set onto a watercolor panel. After that I watercolored it with Altenew Watercolor Markers.

I die-cut the die out of the panel. Then I adhered the panel onto a white card base.

The die-cut sentiment I made a little bit dimensional.  I die-cut the same die 4 times out of white cardstock and adhered them together placing the one cut out of the watercolor panel on top. Then I adhered this dimensional piece into its negative space in the panel.

And then I adhered inside all the die-cut letters. I decided to make inside parts of some letters (O, R, O, D) white. So just inserted white pieces inside of them.

So the letters themselves are on the level of the panel. And the label die-cut is raised just a bit, a three die-cuts higher than the panel level.

 

To finish off the card I added several clear droplets and Crystal Clear Sequins.
