Hi guys!
Today I’m sharing cards I made related to the first week of Summer Card Camp 2. What can I say? That week color combo wasn’t my cup of tea. AT ALL! Hate summer and everything bright and colorful (in my works, enjoy watching such color in other people cards though). Using color combo wasn’t a strict demand but I decided to play according to the rules. Surprisingly enough I liked that experience. Not sure if I will use the same color on my own in future (well who knows?) but it was fun to play with them. And I even like the results lol.
The next card gave me some work (as always Jennifer’s cards do). Diagonal stamping hundreds of “wishing you a lots of” and a DIY chipboard letters made by adhering several die-cuts one above another.
HAPPY – самодельный чипборд из склеенных вырубок. Ну и полтора часа штампинга наискосок wishing you a lots of
Тут решила внутри тоже украсить. Задаю теперь себе вопрос – а где писать поздравления? :)))))
Day 2.
Another happy and bright and not-mine card 🙂 Followed Shari’s tutorial of creating background with gelatos.
Almost exact copying of Jen’s card. A huge sentiment divided in “several” by means of masking and inking in different colors.
Day 3. Inspired by Mariana Grigsby’s card (in fact by wind wheels on her card) I made one using the third sketch from that week.
Day 4.
My least fave one from this week. This one is made after Jennifer Rzasa’s card. I had to try her way of double cutting letters. I did it wrong at the very beginning, then tried to assemble “happy” straight and still have “y” falling down lol. Then after adding other elements the card looked kinda bald so I added some more elements. And now I see that it has too many butterflies.
And by the way – it was 10 minutes challenge which I failed of course lol.
Day 5. My fave card from the whole week! Mostly because of I found a color combo that could feet to a fall card (yay!). Followed Jen’s technique “stamping + pencils” (I just LOVE her techniques and always wanna try them). And OMG! Love the result so much! With these fall colored leaves and diagonal pencil lines it looks So back to school one! But realized it after applying the greetings LOL
Thank you for visiting.
