Hi there!
Today I have one card and one exciting news to share. Staring with the second, as so excited. I’m the proud member of Altenew design team.
My recent chalkboard card reminded me how much I love it. So without further ado decided to make one more. I still playing with techniques showed in OCC Watercolor EM. Tried Distress markers technique showed by Jennifer McGuire with Altenew Painted Flowers, embossed with gold powder. As I’m completely tuned to fall – decided to make my flowers in fall colors as well. Initially they were more soft in color, but I didn’t like how they looked on chalkboard background. So made them more intense. For background I made a sentiment in white embossing with Altenew Halftone Thanks stamps set. Followed by stamping the same sentiment with white ink shifted a bit from embossed one. Then used fantastix tool to paint inside of thanks with white ink.
After creating chalkboard background I added flowers in the shape of flower garden (is the such shape lol?). Finally, as I felt that something is missing – I white ink stamped some leaves here and there.
It was very fun and easy to create card.
Thank you for stopping by!
