Spellbinders | Serenade of Autumn – 5 Quick Cards

Hi friends!

I’m sharing today a bunch of cards made using some products from Spellbinders Serenade of Autumn Collection. Namely, I used the Serenade Of Autumn Butterflies, Serenade Of Autumn Die Cut Shapes, and Serenade Of Autumn Chipboard Embellishments to create all the cards.

Usually, I don’t make a lot of cards in one day. Also, usually, I don’t use ready-to-use embellishments to make cards. But every time I do I realize that the second causes the first.

Don’t get me wrong, I love making all card elements from start to finish. But there is a special pleasure in already having everything on hand and just assembling a card. Especially, when working with a collection of products when the design and color palette are cohesive and take a lot of decision-making out of an equation.

I opted to use light blue and blue cardstock for all card front panels, as this color matches perfectly the fall hues and in general adds freshness to cards.

Some panels I left “untouched”, and some were enhanced by adding shading along their edges.

For additional interest, I also added gold and black splatters on some cards.

Despite the collection name, it’s suitable not just for fall-themed cards. It has images and sentiments that can totally work for other card occasions and even memory keeping.

I hope you like my cards, I had a lot of fun making them. And I have products left to make at least 5 more cards I believe.
