CARD
Looking at this beautiful flower I wanted to create something bold and eye-catching, luxe if you will. Of course, gold is always the first choice when you’re thinking about luxurious design. In particular, I love how much drama navy and gold create together. This combo was the base for my card. As far as the colors of the flowers go, I opted for pink flowers with blue flower centers, stems, and leaves.
Each flower I stamped using pink, red, and blue inks (linked below), gold embossing the outline image of each flower. I also traced each flower with a dark blue marker before die-cutting to make it blend better with the background.
Speaking of background, I made it using the Gold Splatter Navy Washi Tape. The flowers I popped onto the card using black adhesive foam squares. Also, I gold embossed several standalone leaves onto Navy Cardstock, die-cut them, and tucked them under the flowers.
Lastly, I popped up the navy+gold sentiment strip onto the card.
