Altenew | Birch Forest Deer Holiday Card

Hello friends!

And happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate! I hope you’re having the best time (and food) with your loved ones.

Today I want to share a very quick holiday card, featuring a couple of fun products from Altenew. Truth to be told – I made this card the last year. But the last year (and the majority of this one as well) was tough for me blogging-wise. So I have A LOT of projects which I never shared here.

One of the products is a very cool background stamp from the Birch Forest Stamp Set. Another is an oldie but goodie Modern Deer Stamp Set which in my opinion works great with this birch background (not speaking about a deer being perfect for any holiday card).

I stamped the deer using the Mocha and Espresso Dye Inks and then die cut it with the matching dies.

The birch forest background was white embossed onto a Parchment panel and then I blended white ink onto it. After that, I wrapped it with red jute twine. I also added a small twine bow around the deer neck right before I popped it up onto the panel.

Then, the panel was foam mounted onto a white card base.

The sentiment I white embossed onto red cardstock, cut it out, and popped up onto the card. To finish the card off, I added several red sequins.
