Simon Says Stamp | Easy Soft Floral Card

Hello friends!

Hope your weekend is going great. Today I want to quickly share a simple floral card featuring soft springy colors. After writing it I realized that in Spring when everything starts blooming we can see quite a lot of bright colors. Yet for some reason in my head when I think about Spring colors those are rather soft or even pastel. It’s probably because of peeps lol.

I used the new floral stamp set from the recent Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful Release – Blooming Meadow.

I used this set to stamp the flowers and leaves for the floral element of my card. I used Hero Arts Lemon Yellow Shadow Dye Ink and Simon Says Stamp Orange Peel Dye Ink to stamp the flowers and Simon Says Surf Blue Dye Ink for leaves. I stamped the solid parts of all elements using said leaves and then I white embossed the corresponding outline images on top. After that I cut out all elements using my scissors.

Then I used the outline images from the same set to white emboss the background onto an Icy Mint card base. I only did embossing around the edges as the middle was covered by the panel anyways.

As far as the panel goes – I made it out of a using a die from the Wonky Rectangles Die Set. The panel was foam mounted onto the card base.

To make the sentiment I used the cool Simon Says Stamp CZ Design Happy Birthday Die Set making the sentiment dimensional. The top layer I die cut out of a white cardstock and for dimension I stacked 4 Icy Mint die cuts.
