Spellbinders | Delicate Tone On Tone Background. May Large Die Of The Month

Hi friends!

Today I want to share a delicate tone on tone die cut card featuring this month’s Spellbinders Large Die Of The Month – Kaleidoscope Card Creator.

This set can be used to make colorful kaleidoscope backgrounds of all kinds and color combinations. It can be also used to make a tone on tone design. I opted the last one for my card. I like the dimensional filigreed result I got by layering die cuts of the same color.

Using the dies from the kit I made all die-cuts out of a white cardstock. Then I stacked each element using a liquid adhesive. After that I adhered them onto a Rustic Cream card base. Just to differentiate a bit the card base from the filigree background.

Then I made a sentiment by hot foiling a plate from the More Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates onto a white strip using Pewter Foil Tape.

Lastly I popped up the sentiment onto the card which finished it off.

Such design can be implemented in any color. For example I see it made in deep blue or green. I needed a weeding card so made the corresponding color choice 🙂
