BUILD-A-FLOWER: HELLEBORE
The type of this new Build-A-Flower is one of my favorite ones, I call then “realistic”. I’m not very good in coloring and I love stamping and such sets fit the bill – give me the opportunity to stamp and ads a result I’m getting awesome realistic images I wouldn’t be able to create on my own. So this flower is a great addition to my collection of such sets.
CARD
For my card I was inspired by a beautiful photo of a sand dune and azure sky I have saved on my Pinterest Color Inspiration board.
First I stamped the flowers and leaves onto a white cardstock. All inks I used are listed below in case you want to know exact colors. After stamping I die-cut all elements using the matching dies.
Next I made a panel out of a white cardstock and created a gradient background using teal inks. I also added splatters of a clean clear water and Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray onto the panel to add more interest.
After that I adhered the stamped die-cuts in the bottom part of the card forming a floral cluster. And then foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
I made a sentiment using the Birthday Builder Stamp Set and yellow ink, which then I cut out with my scissors. The sentiment I popped onto the card.
Lastly I added several clear droplets.

Love the background in blues with the quiet tones of the flowers set against it. I have a Shooting Star Hellebore in my garden & the pale delicate coloured flowers against the dark leaves are beautiful.
