Altenew | Quick and Easy Hugs & Kisses Card

Hello friends,

I’m being very bad blogger recently (and by recently I mean the past year). I have so many cards made for other places and I never duplicated them here. Trying to fix this one post at a time lol.
So today I want to share a quick and easy elegant Hugs & Kisses card with you.

For my front panel I used a paper from the Enchanting Washes Paper Pad. I really love this set, it has many different beautiful designs of watercolor washes. Very convenient to have such paper on hand when you need a card and don’t have time to make you own watercolor wash.

Of course here a real watercolor watch can be used, as well as a washi tape.

I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

Next I white embossed on Vellum a floral cluster from the Forever In Love Stamp Set and die-cut it using the coordinating die.

I made a sentiment using a stamp from the Halftone Hearts Stamp Set which I stamped onto a Solar White Cardstock with the Jet Black Dye Ink. After that I die-cut it using the matching die.

After that I popped the sentiment onto the floral cluster die-cut. Then I adhered the die-cut onto the card. Applying a liquid glue in the areas under the sentiment. So it’s not visible.

Also I added small dots of a liquid adhesive in top and bottom parts of the die-cut, placing them under the white embossed outlines. Here I used my beloved Ranger Multi Medium Matte – a very strong liquid adhesive as needed the dots to be very small (to hide them under the white embossing) and at the same time I needed this small amount of glue to hold the die-cut.

Lastly I added several Silver Foil Crystals to accentuate the card.
