Altenew | Two Cards With Celebrations Paper Set

Hi friends,

Today I want to share with you two cards made using Celebrations Paper Set from Celebrate You Kit. This 6×6 set has 12 very beautiful and unique designs. It one of those paper pads that you cry when cut (at least I do).

GOLD CONFETTI

For my first card I used vert beautiful sheet with gold confetti falling down. I immediately thought of a party or wedding invitation or a wedding card.

As it usually is when a designer paper is used – cards was very simple to make.

First I embossed two sides of the floral frame from the Floral Frame Stamp Set using Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

I also stamped a floral cluster from the same set in Citrus Burst Dye Ink using a stamp positioning tool, colored it with Warm Sunshine, Mango Smoothie and Buttercream Artist Markers and embossed the outlines also with Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

Then I fussy cut all mentioned elements using my scissors.

I made an A2 card base out of Solar White Cardstock and trim an A2 panel out of the designer paper sheet, which I then adhered onto the card base.

Followed by adhering the floral frame flat and foam mounting the floral cluster on the top.

I die-cut a sentiment out of Gold Foil Cardstock using Script Words Die Set and adhered it onto the card.

GRAY WOODGRAIN

For the next card I used very elegant white on gray woodgrain looking sheet from the set.

I trimmed a narrow panel from this sheet and popped it onto a card base made out of Moonrock Cardstock.

I stamped two carnation flowers using the Build-A-Flower: Carnation and Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow and Honey Drizzle Dye Inks. After that I die-cut them using the matching die from the set.

I also die-cut tree leaves out of Real Gray Cardstock using the Layered Rose Die Set.

Next I started assembling the card. I adhered the flowers and leaves in the top part of the card.  I die-cut a sentiment out of Solar White Cardstock using Script Words Die Set and adhered it below the flower cluster.

Which I finished off by adding several white crystals.
