Lesia Zgharda and Fabrika Decoru Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Lesia Zgharda and Fabrika Decoru collaboration blog hop.

Not only both design teams are showing projects made using supplies of both companies, but there is a twist as well. In each project a romantic love movie is “coded” and we challenge our readers to guess which movie it is.

I’ll give you small hint – color combo and some photo props should help you to guess (if you watched this movie of course). It’s a old classic one – let it be one more hint for you.For my card I used new stamps from January release – Special Cake K030 as well as Fabrika Decoru dry paints Black and Turquoise and white embossing powder.

First I white embossed two cake bases onto Tim Holtz watercolor paper and colored them using dry paints. One I colored in black and another in turquoise. These dry paints are dry pigments, I was just picking up a tiny bit of pigment onto my craft mat, adding a bit of water and colored with as as I would with watercolors.Then I white embossed cake pedestals and pearl strings and cut them out using my scissors.

Onto a Licorice Twist card base I white embossed a sentiment from Phrases TA135 set. Then  I cut a white panel out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and die-cut a bottom border using MFT Scalloped Edges die. The panel then was adhered onto the card base and cakes in turn were foam mounted onto it.I added several pearls here and there to finish off my card.
