It’s me again 🙂 I wanna share the card I made for KickStart Online Classes. The homework was to find inspiration from the unusual sources. So my source is Physicians Formula eye shadows I’ve purchased last week. It has cute fancy packaging covered with lace and I thought that it could be interesting to create a card looked like it. So here is what I came with.
The background is simple – just black embossing. And I wanted to make something like shadows line in a window. Decided to try creating my own glitter paper. But I don’t have anything for it. So I replaced Be Creative Tape with Ranger Wonder Tape, Ritz Glitters glitter with dollar store one, Copics with Promarkers and … it didn’t work lol. The glitter didn’t stick properly to the wonder tape and came off if I rubbed it with fingers. Markers didn’t create that gradient I tried to make. Then I switched to Ranger Alcohol Inks, the result was a bit better but not the same as I wanted. Eventually I covered everything with Glossy Accents… 7 years after, when Glossy Accent dried I got this pretty panel! Not the result I went for but eventually I liked it.
Recently I started enjoying using pearls. One can add fun and pretty accent to a card, especially when you feel that something is missing. So my recent purchase was a million of pearls lol
