Hello guys!
Even having promised to myself not to make the same style cards in a row I can’t get away from CAS ones 🙂 Today I wanna show you another one I made yesterdayThis time I wanted to try using the same paper for different parts of the card. It seemed to merge in one dark-blue spot but using embossing (cold and hot ones) I got them looking differently. Used wrinkle-free technique to create the central round element. The only thing that I hadn’t had distress inks in colors I need so used ColorBox ones. Even being pigment ones they are water-based to work for this technique as well (you don’t need to run to a craft-store to purchase distress ink). Then I applied a bit of ink directly to the paper in the spots I wanted to make color more deep.
The idea of this card came to me when I saw the photo-inspiration at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.Of course it’s more suitable for Halloween cards but this holiday I’m not really understand (at least so far, I’ve only been living in the US less then 2 years). So I wanted to created something non-Halloween but inpired with this photo.
And used Splitcoaststampers Sketch#397
Thank you for stopping by!
