Altenew • Chameleon Coloring and Sentiment Spotlighting

This month Altenew is collaborating with Chameleon Pens and each Friday we’re showing projects made using supplies from both companies. And I have one card to share with you today.I started making this card by cutting out a panel out of Altenew Crest Solar White cardstock. Next I stamped a floral cluster using stamps from Persian Motives set. Next a word happy was cut out from this panel using Happy die.

I colored the flowers on the panel, using 5 Pen Cool Tones set from Chameleon, using darker blue for flowers, with some pops of light blue, and purple colors for leaves.  For the happy die-cut I chose different colors for the same elements, as wanted it to stand out.Following I die-cut several happy words out of dark blue cardstock and made a DIY chipboard, placing on top the die-cut, that was cut out from the panel.The panel then was adhered to a dark blue  A2 top folded card base, made from same cardstock I used for happy chipboard dimensional part. And then I inserted the chipboard into its negative space in the panel.

Lastly I added a sentiment, white embossed on a stripe of the same dark blue cardstock. And several sequins this finish off my card.

This card turned out. Beautiful colors of this 5 Pen Cool Tones set in combination with Persian Motives create striking combo.
