I’m Svitlana Shayevich, and I’m so happy you’re here.

I was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to New York in 2010. Professionally, I’m a software developer, which means I spend my days solving technical problems and building applications. Creating has always been the perfect balance to that analytical side of my brain.

I discovered cardmaking in 2009 and was instantly hooked. Soon after, I started Craftwalks as a place to share my cards and connect with other paper crafters. More than fifteen years later, I’m still enjoying the creative process and sharing it here.

Today, Craftwalks is where I share my latest handmade cards, creative techniques, and honest thoughts on the products I use in my craft room.

But creativity doesn’t stop at my craft desk. I also enjoy decorating our home, tackling DIY projects, and spending time in the garden whenever I can. Whether I’m designing a card, planning a raised garden bed, or tackling a home project, I love the process of turning an idea into something real.
