Altenew • Pinecones

Hello there!

I am on Altenew blog today showing two fun tags and a card using  Poinsettia & Pine stamps set.Holiday tags by @s_shayevich. Stamps - @altenew Poinsettia and Pine. #card #cardmaking #handmade #diy #papercrafts #christmasAfter die-cutting tags from  Classic Crest Solar White cardstock I created backgrounds on them by inking and stamping pine branches (with Altenew Forest Glades and  Evergreen inks). Added the sentiment from Halftone Holidays set.

For little pin econe buddies I first created pine cones by inking a piece of Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with Dark Chocolate ink, stamping the pine cones in Dark Chocolate and Jet Black and fussy cutting them using my favorite cutters.

Used one pine cone to create a reindeer, by adding small googly eyes, a red pom-pom and antlers (made using the branch stamp from Winter Cardinal stamps set).Holiday tags by @s_shayevich. Legs, wigs and beak I hand cut from paper scraps. Holiday tags by @s_shayevich. I wanted to create almost one-layer card but with kind of complex design. So for this card there were two steps inking and embossing.

On a cream cardstock panel I stamped berries from Altenew Winter Cardinal stamps set in Ruby Red ink and clear embossed them using my AC Zing! clear embossing powder as well as the the sentiment from Altenew Halftone Holidays set in the middle of the panel.Holiday card by @s_shayevich. Then I did some more inking of the panel, this time using Evergreen ink. Finally stamped some more branches Evergreen ink, carefully removed ink from embossed images with damp q-tip, rounded the corners of the panel and adhered it to a cream card base.Holiday card by @s_shayevich.
