Altenew • Christmas cards

I’m on Altenew blog today, showing three Christmas cards. This time of year is never too much of those, isn’t it?

The first two cards are very similar. I used patterned paper to make poinsettias from Altenew Poinsettia & Pine stamps set. I stamped each flower three times using Altenew Dark Chocolate ink, fussy cut each petals layer and created dimensional flower. For leaves PP of another design was used. Sentiment, tiny ink droplets (very tine, made with my new splutter brush), a stripe of PP (the same as used for leaves), sequins – the card is ready.

The second one is extremely similar, with a little twist in design.

And the last one – a cardinal sitting in a tree branches one snowy misty day.  Used Altenew Winter Cardinal stamps set to create this card. A lot of branches were stamped on a Bazzill Candy Buttons cardstock panel using Dark Chocolate and Jet Black inks. Next I misted it with Studio Calico OPAQUE WHITE Mister Huey’s. Stamped and fussy cut a cardinal and two branches, adhered them onto a vellum which adhered to the panel.

Finally stamped the sentiment combining stamps from Altenew  Halftone Holidays and Halftone Happy stamps sets, added it to the card using dimensional adhesive and adhered the panel to a card bade made with the same cardstock.
