Hello friends!
Do you like chalkboard cards? They became really popular several years ago and I totally got hooked on them. And even though chalkboards may not so extremely trendy at this point, I still like making them from time to time. I personally think that this trend is rather classic and timeless. Plus, they’re very easy to make and quite impactful.
I used the Papertrey Ink Fall Farmer’s Market Stamp Set to make this card.
First, I white embossed the elements of the background onto a black cardstock. Along with white embossing the banner on another piece of black cardstock and die-cutting it with the coordinating die.
To add the chalkboard look I smudged white pigment ink along the background and banner using a paper towel.
I stamped the supporting players, such as pumpkins, apples, leaves, using the stamps from the set and die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Lastly, I assembled the card by adhering the die-cut elements onto the background panel.
