Papertrey Ink | Adorable Owl Halloween Card

Hello there!

I have another cute Halloween card to share with you today. Featuring a night moonlight scene with an absolutely adorable owl as a main character.

I used Papertrey Ink Happy Owl-O-Ween Stamp and Die Sets to create this card.

First, I stamped all elements onto a white cardstock and then die-cut them using matching dies.

Next, I inked up a white cardstock panel with the Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Inks. To create kind of glow from the moon I was doing much more intense heavy handed blending towards the panel edges, with little or almost no blending in the middle.

I also added water splatters onto the ink-blended front panel to get it bleached.

Next, I dry embossed a wired shape die onto the panel along all 4 edges.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment in black and assembled the card by adhering all the elements onto it. I adhered some elements flat and some were popped up to create a multi dimensional effect.
