Hello and welcome to Altenew x Hero Arts Stampwheel Collab Blog Hop!
In this blog hop, we’re showcasing an amazing stamping tool – Stampwheel!
You probably came from Agnieszka Malyszek. If not – you may consider starting from the beginning at Altenew Card Blog and see what other members of Altenew and Hero Arts design teams have created. There are so many beautiful projects from talented designers. Also at each stop, you have a chance to win a prize.
EASY ROSE WREATH CARD
For my card, I used my probably first ever stamp set from Altenew (and I believe this set was a part of the first Altenew release) – Painted Flowers. After so many years this set is still one of my favorites.
I went with a non-traditional color scheme for my florals: yellow flowers and red leaves. Although it may be not traditional for the real-life flowers, seeing such floral implementations in cardmaking is quite common 🙂
I created the wreath using the amazing Stampwheel and a little bit of masking. The Stampwheel is a great stamping tool for any stamping needs (as well as stenciling, thanks to the sticky mat). But it’s especially useful for wreath creation, it makes stamping a wreath just a breeze!
The masking was only used to mask off overlapping elements of the wreath. I didn’t use any masking when moved on to the ink blending around the wreath. I just tried to not blend over the yellow flowers. Blending over the red leaves didn’t do any harm.
I added water splatters onto the blending, followed by adding white splatters on top.
The panel was foam-mounted onto a white card base. The sentiment label was popped in the middle of the wreath.
Several dots from the Summer Afternoon and Red Sunset Enamel Dots Sets finished off the card.

I love the sentiment on this card. I’m not always a big fan of flowers because they take so long to color but the stamp wheel would make a BIG difference. I love your colors. For me that sentiment just makes it pop.
