CRAFT-A-FLOWER: JAPANESE CAMELLIA

I used the new Craft-A-Flower: Japanese Camellia to create my fall floral card with a hint of vintage aesthetic. Actually, the is more than a hint of vintage haha. I tend to often go overboard with this style.

The flowers I die-cut out of yellow cardstock and added shading to them with orange ink. For the leaves I used brown and kraft cardstock, adding the shading with brown ink.

Water splatters were added to bring texture to the ink-blended elements.

The background was stamped using the background stamp from the Climbing Leaves Stamp Set. After that, I ink-blended Mocha and Dark Chocolate Dye Inks around the background edges. Followed by sprinkling it with water.

Next, I adhered the flowers and leaves onto the background, forming a floral cluster. Adding shimmery and regular (non shimmery) brown splatters on top.

I opted for a white card base to tone down all the browns a bit.

A white-on-black sentiment label and several sequins finished off the card.
