BOLF FLORAL CARD

For my first card, I wanted to play with the new Fresh Dye Ink and as a result, I created a bunch of floral elements using the new Sketched Florals Stamp Set from the Simply Beautiful Ensemble.

This stamp set includes a couple of solid and outline stamps for each image. It’s not a layered stamp set, but I wanted to make my stamped elements multi-color so I added some kind of layering by double stamping them.

For each stamped element I would first stamp the solid image with a lighter ink and then stamped over with a darker on applied to the stamp partially.
This trick added some dimension and interest to the elements.

After finishing the stamping, I die-cut all elements using the matching Sketched Florals Die Set.

To make the background, I embossed a dark red cardstock panel using the Dotted Waves Cover Die. Followed by foam mounting it onto a white card base.

After that, I adhered all the Sketched Florals elements onto the card, forming a floral cluster.

To make the sentiment, the new Versatile Greetings 2 Die Set was used. After die-cutting its parts and assembling the sentiment it was popped up onto the card using black adhesive foam squares.

SOFT DUO-CHROMATIC CARD

For my second card, I used products from the same v. But this one I made in a softer duo chromatic design.

I stamped and die-cut a couple of flowers from the set, opting for the Antique Gold Embossing Powder to make the flower outlines. I also gold embossed the outlines of several leaves onto a white cardstock. After that, I die-cut all elements.

To create the sentiment I used the Versatile Greetings 2 Hot Foil Plates Set, using the Spellbinders Matte Gold Hot Foil. It was die-cut using the matching die from the Versatile Greetings 2 Die Set.

I used the Dotted Waves Coloring Stencil to make the background, by spraying the Frosty Pink Metallic Ink Spray through it onto a white panel.

I’ve assembled the card by popping up the sentiment onto the background panel, with the floral elements tucked underneath. The panel then was foam mounted onto a white card base.

Several Antique Gold Sequins finished off the card.
