CARD
I made a simple card using the new set featuring the reverse ink blending technique. I had the idea of such look at the back of my head for some time and this stamp set seemed to be a perfect one to try it. Also, it turned out to be quite quick and easy to make.
I started by stamping the floral stamp onto a Parchment Cardstock panel using the Espresso Dye Ink. Additionally, I stamped it onto a masking paper and cut it out using scissors. Next, I applied the mask onto the stamped image and blended the Espresso Dye Ink all around it.
On this point, the card was practically ready. I added water splatters as well as white and black ink splatters onto it for additional interest. And then adhered the panel onto a white card base.
Lastly, I made the sentiment strip and popped it up onto the card.

I usually use blue in my sympathy cards, but WOW this card is beautiful! You usually use such vibrant colors, the brown surprised me. Nice stamp.

The masking technique you used is such a cool way to add color but leave the focal image as it is. Quick card that doesn’t appear to be one!

Wow, what a cool technique. I love the effect of the water splatters, I would never have guessed that’s how they’d been done!
roxanne tellini
It really looks like you used some kind of white ink on the roses. That espresso ink halo is magic.

This is a sweet card. I like to see more subdued colors to match the situation and person. This seems like for a more sober moment, which I often need cards for.
