It’s time for another Simon Says Stamp release – Send Happiness. It’s a very cool one, so many wonderful products. I’m eyeing a couple of background stamps and dies.
I was lucky to play with the new Lil’ Critters: Schnauzer Die and created an easy and fun Halloween card using it.
I die cut the doggo out of a white cardstock and blended the Twisted Citron Distress Ink onto it. To add some texture I then sprinkled it with water. I colored the nose with black marker, adhered googly eyes and gave him a witch hat (which was die cut out of black cardstock using already discontinued die).
Then I made the background by blending the Seedless Preserves Distress Ink onto a white panel followed by sprinkling it with water as well. I was using my Distress Sprayer which created unique splatters. Then I let the panel to dry out very well and embossed the Spider Web Background using the Black Sparkle Embossing Powder.
After that I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base. Followed by popping up the doggo using black adhesive foam squares. I also added a sentient white embossed onto a black strip.
Lastly I added several sequins to accentuate the card.
