TRIBAL CARD

My first card features the Border Bling: Tribal Frames, I used a plate from the set to add texture to the green cardstock panel. Then I inked it up with Moved Lawn Distress Ink and sprinkled with water.

Then I die-cut another panel out of a white cardstock using a die from the Love To Layer: Aztec Die Set, which then was inked up with the Work Lipstick Distress Ink.

Next I adhered the green panel onto a white card base and popped up the pink one onto it.

After that I stamped and die cut several leaves using the Dear Friend Stamp and Die Sets and adhered them onto the card.

Lastly I die cut the To Die For Sentiments: Bright Days Die out of white, “disassembled” it by cutting off the first two words and adhered them onto the card.

YOU BRIGHTEN MY LIFE

The second card features the To Die For Sentiments: Brighten My Life Die. I wanted to picture the meaning of the sentiment with the card design so created this kind of glowy background.

To do so first I blended the Mustard Seed Distress Ink in the middle of a white panel in circle shape, then I blended the Black Soot Distress Ink all around it. Next I sprinkled the panel with water, let the ink move, blotted it and let the panel dry. After that I blended the Mustard Seed onto it again covering all splatters with it. Finally I added a white spray splatters onto the panel and adhered it onto a white card base.

Then I die-cut a circle using a die from the Love To Layer: Scalloped Circle Die Set and adhered it onto the card.

The sentiment I die cut out of a white cardstock and inked it up with the Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Inks. Then it was adhered onto the card.
