Papertrey Ink | June Release Countdown

Hi friends!

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Ink To Paper June Release Countdown. The new release will be available at Ink To Paper on June 15th at 10:00 PM EST. Today we’re featuring the Flourishing Florals Stamp and Die Set, Just Sentiments: Hugs, To Die For Sentiments: Long Distance Hug Die and Inside Greetings: Sending Hugs Stamp Set.

FLOURISHING FLORALS

For my first card I used the Flourishing Florals Stamp and Die Set. I choose bright pink and teal color scheme for this card.

Flowers and leaves were stamped onto a white cardstock and then die cut.

I also die cut two panels using the Love To Layer: Aztec dies, which I layered onto a white card base using a foam adhesive. After that I created a floral cluster by adhering flowers and leaves onto the card.

Using stamps from the Just Sentiments: Hugs Stamp Set I made two sentiment pieces – white embossed onto a teal cardstock and stamped onto a white strip. Both got popped up onto the card.

LONG DISTANCE HUG

My second card features the To Die For Sentiments: Long Distance Hug Die. Which I die cut out of a white cardstock and then blended Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks onto it. Of course then I sprinkled it with water which you basically have to do when work with oxides 🙂

Then I die cut two panels using the Love To Layer: Notched Die Set out of a white and teal cardstock. Which were layered onto a white card base using a foam adhesive.

Then I adhered the sentiment onto the card and added several confetti to accentuate it.

For the card inside I used a stamp from the Inside Greetings; Sending Hugs Stamp Set, which I stamped in two colors using the same inks as I used for the Long Distance Hug sentiment.
