Altenew | Cozy Floral Card Using Stamping Village Stamp Set

Hello friends!

I had a pleasure to play with the new stamp set from Stamping Village – Happy Birthday. This set has stamps designed from several companies. It’s a very great value – you’re getting so many different styles in one set.

Each company stamps are rather small one, which absolutely doesn’t mean you cannot use them to make a full size (I’m talking most common A2 size) card. I want to share one idea using stamps designed by Altenew.

First I stamped a floral pattern onto a rounded rectangle die cut. I opted not to deal with masking trying to place leaves under the roses. Instead I was stamping leaves to fill areas around roses.

I was stamping one rose and then stamped leaves around it. And then stamped another rose and stamped leaves around. This way I got somewhat even spacing between all elements (whoops would be harder to achieve if I stamped roses first.

Then I made a panel out of a coral cardstock and stamped similar pattern around its edges.

I tied a green bakers twine around the panel and foam mounted it onto the card.

Next I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment and popped it up onto the card. Which I finished off by adding several confetti.
