Hope your weekend has a great start! Mine is as it’s finally fall here.
Well, it’s not officially fall yet (for those living in USA), although in Ukraine (where I came from) we start seasons first day of a quarter so for me it’s September 1st. The weather in NYC is not quite fallish yet, but to be honest the climate here is too warm to make a proper fall or winter, so you have to work with what you have lol. And in my heart I’ve been having fall since when Starbucks issues PSL back in August.
I can talk about fall for hours, but I won’t. Will show you my recent card made for this season. It was made using a beautiful Altenew Foliage Stencil.
I started making my card by blending two orange inks of a lighter and darker shades through the bottom stencil. I did ombre blending by first adding a lighter color to the whole design and then adding a darker in the leaves bases.
After that I added details by blending the darker ink through the top stencil.
I also did some blending using an orange ink in the top part of the panel. After which I added splatters of a black and gold ink spray and foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
The sentiment I die-cut twice – out of a black and white cardstock. Then I blended the white die-cut with orange inks in ombre manner and adhered it onto the black one with a slight shift. After that I adhered the sentiment onto the card.
It was a very easy card, I love this stencil for fall cards.. Or actually for any season cards.

Love your fall card. I love fall too and am anxiously awaiting the color change in the maples in Virginia. I lived in central Florida for years where we had no color changes to the leaves and barely fall weather and so love every aspect of the fall season.

Thank you, Linda! For me here in NYC fall is not was “fallish” as I prefer, but we’re getting some of it. I dream to have a road trip one day for fall viewing scenery here in New England.
