Spellbinders | Luxe Hot Foiled Thinking Of You Card

Hi friends!

Today I want to share a card, that turned out looking quite luxe. Thanks to the foiling I was using as well as the color scheme. I like combination of yellow and blue in general, but yellow ins a form of gold + dark blue look quite royal. It’s easy to create a gorgeous card using this color scheme. I also used foiling here, which added to the posh look.

First I made the floral element by foiling the Sweet Blooms Border Glimmer Hot Foil Plate onto a watercolor paper using the Matte Gold Foil. After that I quickly watercolored it and cut out using my scissors. The design of this plate is rather a border, which I cut out in two pieces.

For the front panel I chose a dark blue cardstock that got foiled with the Cobalt Blue Foil using the Diamonetta Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate.

The sentiment I made using a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer Hot Foil Plate, which I foiled onto a dark blue strip using the Matte Gold Foil.

For additional interest all elements were foam mounted – the front panel, floral element and the sentiment. Several gold crystals finished off the card.
