Hero Arts + Altenew Partners Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Hero Arts + Altenew Partners Blog Hop! This creative blog hop is all about celebrating 45 years of Hero Arts and more importantly – Celebrating our industry!!

Altenew has designed this beautiful floral set for Hero Arts to celebrate this event and you will see a lot of amazing projects designed by the blog hop participants using this set

This huge flower was begging me to be watercolored and I did so.

I stamped the flowers using a very light ink onto a watercolor panel. T hen I masked the flower off and stamped several leaves “beneath” it.

Then I went ahead and watercolored the image using Altenew watercolors.

I used blue for the flower, green for the leaves and background I decided to make brown. I really like combination of blue and brown.

Then I added splatters of the same colors on top, followed by adding splatters of a white paint.

I stamped a sentiment from the set using the Ocean Waves Dye Ink, fussy cut it and popped it up onto the panel. Which I adhered onto a white card base.

Lastly I added several Snow crystals.
