Check out these new amazing markers of the Altenew color family.
This set has some of my favorites – Desert Night, Crimson, Turquoise.
You probably came from Hussena Calcuttawala. If not – you may consider starting from the beginning at Altenew Card Blog and see what other members of Altenew design team and guest designers have created. There are so many beautiful projects from talented designers. Also you on each stop you you have a chance to win a prize.
For my card I decided to use blue and brown color scheme. It’s one of those always winning color combinations.
Onto a watercolor panel I white embossed a background using stamps from the Wallpaper Art Stamp Set. I was using the matching masks to mask off the elements.
Next I watercolored the design using the Desert Night, Paper Bag and Turquoise Watercolor Markers. “Watercolored” is probably a very strong word to use here. I did a very basic coloring by adding water and pigment from the markers to the elements.
After that I added white paint splatters onto the panel and then foam mounted it to a white card base.
I stamped a sentiment using stamps from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set and Desert Night Dye Ink onto a white stripe. And then popped it onto the card. Which I finished off by adding several Snow Crystals.
