Hi!
Today I wanna show my new shoe project. On Friday I saw the Challenge: What are you known for? of Simon Says Stamp and Show and realized that this challenge is for me. Cuz if I’m known for something these are my shoes 🙂 This particular project type I can say is kind of my cup of tea.
So the day I read the challenge post I went to the closest Fabco Shoes and bought to pairs. Spent yesterday decorating one and now introducing my new shoe, which I named “Tim Holtz rules” as here I almost only used Tim’s signature products.
The shoe was covered first with pieces of Idea-ology tissue paper. Then I user color washes, distress inks and distress embossing powder to create colorful background. Grunge paper die-cuts painted with color washes or crackle paint. And finally different Idea-ology embellishments elaborated it.
And almost forgot to tell 🙂 I was inspired by dozens videos of Tim products from CHA winter 2013. Have you seen them? New Tim’s products are stunning! And that stuff designer created using new supplies are just awesome!!!!!

Hello! Beginner here! How did you fix your 3d embellishments? Particularly the butterfly? I’ve been wanting to try this sort of project but also want it to hold up being actually worn. So I wanted it all sealed but don’t know what to use to “glue” it on or seal it to last. Thank you!

Hi there! I secure elements using hot glue and sometimes Ranger Multi Media Matte. But I don’t really wear them. I make them as decor pieces:)
