Thank You for Helping Me Grow Card

Hello everyone!

There’s something so cheerful about a card filled with house plants! For this thank you card, I combined soft colors with a clean geometric background to create a bright design that’s perfect for showing appreciation.

The background was die-cut using the Papertrey Ink Cover Plate: Herringbone Die and backed with a panel ink blended using Distress Inks. The soft aqua and warm yellow blend creates a fresh, airy look while allowing the white cover plate to stand out.

I stamped and die-cut the adorable potted plants from the Papertrey Ink Growth Stamp Set and Papertrey Ink Growth Die, then arranged them on two wooden shelves to create a little indoor plant display. The hanging vine helps connect the two shelves and adds movement to the design.

To finish the card, I added the “Thank you for helping me GROW” sentiment across the center. I love how the sentiment ties in perfectly with the collection of plants and makes this a thoughtful thank you card for a teacher, mentor, friend, or anyone who has made a positive difference.
