Papertrey Ink | Easy Nautical Father’s Day Card Idea

Hello friends,

Today I’m sharing a nautical Father’s Day card featuring a soft coral and aqua color combo. I used the Papertrey Ink Weaved Background Stamp to create a bold patterned background, which gives the card a nice textured look without adding extra bulk.

For the background, I stamped the Papertrey Ink Weaved Background Stamp onto aqua cardstock using a coordinating ink color. This tone-on-tone look keeps the background interesting while still letting the focal elements stand out.

For the focal point, I used the Papertrey Ink Seas Of Life Stamp Set along with the coordinating Papertrey Ink Seas Of Life Die.

The anchor and ship wheel add a classic nautical feel, while the soft coral color keeps the card looking fresh and not too heavy.

The sentiment was stamped onto a white tag cut with the Papertrey Ink Charming Tags 1 Die Set. I added the anchor on top of the tag and tucked the ship wheel behind it to build a layered cluster.

To finish the card, I wrapped twine around the top of the stamped panel and tied additional twine through the tag. A few sequins added small shiny accents and helped soften the overall look. I mounted the finished panel onto a white card base, leaving a clean border around the design.
