CHIPMUNK FUN IN AUTUMN COLORS

I made this playful card using the new Woodland Path Bundle and Mini Delight: Garden Friend Bundle to build a bright, colorful fall scene.

I started with the background by embossing the Woodland Path 3D Folder onto a white cardstock panel.

To add color, I blended inks onto the raised leaves, acorns, and mushrooms using mini brushes. The top of the panel was shaded in blues with the Deep Blue Seas Ink Set, while the bottom was blended with warm browns from the Coffee Break Ink Set. In tighter spots around the embossed details, I used a small paintbrush dipped into ink for a smooth, continuous background.

Next, I created the focal elements. The chipmunk was stamped from the Mini Delight: Garden Friend Stamp Set and fussy cut.

I also die cut several leaves from Crafty Necessities: Sunkissed Cardstock using the Mini Delight: Garden Friend Die Set, blending on additional inks for variation.

Both the chipmunk and leaves were popped up onto the background with black adhesive foam squares, which blend in better when working with non-white elements.

For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the same set in brown ink onto Sunkissed cardstock and fussy cut it before popping it up as well.

A few enamel dots from the Warm & Cozy Set and a white card base finished the design.
