CLEAN AND TEXTURED FATHER’S DAY CARD WITH BOLD LETTERING

I made a Father’s Day card using several Altenew products that are perfect for masculine designs. I love incorporating textures and bold elements to create a strong yet stylish look.

For the background, I used the Checkered Diamond 3D Embossing Folder, which instantly reminded me of a classic shirt pattern—perfect for a Father’s Day theme.

To add an extra layer of interest, I created a linen-like texture using the Essential Textures: Rustic Burlap Press Plate. I pressed it into a Crafty Necessities: Green Gold Cardstock panel using the coordinating Green Gold Fresh Dye Ink, giving it a rich, woven effect.

To make the focal point, I die-cut the letters for “DAD” using the Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set.

I first created a matching textured panel, then cut out the letters, layering them over die cuts made from light brown double-sided foam. This foam is an easy and effective way to add instant dimension, making the sentiment stand out beautifully.

For the secondary sentiment, I used a stamp from the Family Matters Stamp Set, white-embossing it onto a Crafty Necessities: Desert Night Cardstock strip for contrast.

To finish off the card, I added round and star Glacier Caves Enamel Dots, which subtly enhance the design without overpowering the bold elements.

I love how this card balances texture, color, and depth, making it both elegant and fitting for the occasion!
