CRAFT-A-FLOWER: GARDENIA

Believe it or not, I always struggle with color solutions for my cards. It’s the first thing I’m brainstorming when creating one. Very often I turn to Pinterest for inspiration. And Pinterest already knows it so very often when I open it I already have some color combo “propositions” right away in my feed. This time I came across a striking green and yellow picture and after that there was no way back, I had to try it.

I used the new Craft-A-Flower: Gardenia to create the focal point element for my card. Opting to make the flowers “white” (with slight green shadows) and leaves yellow.

For the background I used a very cool Press Plate from this release – Essential Textures: Gilded Marble, making it in tone-on-tone manner.

One-Go:Words & Banners Bundle was used to create a white-embossed on black sentiment label.
