BUILD-A-GARDEN: BLOOMING DELIGHT

The beautiful Build-A-Garden: Blooming Delight features a stunning large floral design, offering versatility as an outline image for coloring or as a canvas for the super realistic Color Layering Stencil.

I used both options, opting for the yellow and gray combo as the color scheme for my card.

There is one large floral cluster stamp in the Blooming Delight Stamp Set, which was enough for me to create all the elements for my card. I white embossed it onto a white cardstock and colored using inks from the golden Sunset Fresh Dye Ink Bundle for the flowers and gray ones from the Rock Collection Fresh Dye Ink Bundle.

I used Dark Gray Cardstock for the background, stamping the floral cluster onto it using Pure Graphite Fresh Dye Ink.

The sentiment was made by die-cutting and gluing together its parts out of Dark Gray and Brushed Silver Metallic Cardstock using the Versatile Greetings Die Set.

Both floral elements and sentiment were popped up using black adhesive foam squares. The background panel was foam-mounted onto a white card base.

I accentuated the card with the new chunky silver gems from the Metallic Gold & Silver Gem Sparkles, which finished it off.

SWEET JASMINE

I used the new Sweet Jasmine Bundle for my next card, which is executed in the same color scheme (almost), and kind of the same design idea is applied to it.

The main difference between the two cards is that I inverted colors for their element. The Sweet Jasmine flowers are made using the Rock Collection Fresh Dye Ink Bundle, while the background was created by blending inks from the Sunset Fresh Dye Ink Bundle on a white cardstock.

I “better-pressed” the Sweet Jasmine Press Plate into the background using the Snapdragon Fresh Dye Ink and added some splatters for additional interest.

All elements were popped up onto the background.

Iridescent Crystals Gem Sparkles were added to accentuate the card.
