DYNAMIC DUO: FLORAL WHIMSY

This month’s Dynamic Duo Subscription will help you to create very beautiful florals. I like the whimsical style of these flowers.

I created two sets of florals using the Dynamic Duo: Floral Whimsy by stenciling them onto a white cardstock and then adding details with the matching stamps, opting for a pink and kraft color palette. For stenciling and stamping, I used inks from the Red Sunset and Coffee Break Fresh Dye Ink Bundles.

Using the Add-On die I was able to die-cut all the elements at once, which is always great.

The Dotted Scales Debossing Cover Die was used to add texture to a Parchment Cardstock panel. All the die-cut elements were adhered to said panel, forming a floral cluster.

The sentiment label was created using the One-Go Loving Sentiments, by white embossing onto a Parchment Cardstock.

Several Pure White Ink Spray splatters were added for additional interest.

STENCIL ART: WATERCOLOR FLOWERS

The new Stencil Art Subscription offers an amazing Layering Stencil Set, that is both enjoyable and straightforward to use, yielding stunning outcomes.

Using the Stencil Art: Playful Watercolor Flowers I created the watercolor floral background with little effort, sticking to the same pink and kraft color combo using inks from the Red Sunset and Coffee Break Fresh Dye Ink Bundles.

The panel was distressed a bit by ink blending the Rocky Shore Fresh Dye Ink around its edges. After that, I foam-mounted it onto a Parchment card base.

I created a bunch of white embossed on Parchment Cardstock labels using the One-Go Loving Sentiments when was creating one for the previous card and was using them for other projects (that’s the beauty of this One-Go set).

White splatters and Wood Warbler Enamel Dots finished off the card.

DEAR HEART

The new Dear Heart Die with its large size and sophisticated design will help you to effortlessly create an elegant card.

I die-cut the heart out of watercolor paper and watercolored it with a pink ombre effect.

Additionally, I die-cut the same shape 3 times out of white cardstock and layered all die-cuts securing them with liquid adhesive. I did this to add some weight and stability to the focal element.

This step was a bit tedious because of the intricacy of the die and it’s optional really. It doesn’t affect much the finished card design. I just went with it as felt like it at the time.

I paired the heart element with a heartwarming sentiment made using the new One-Go Loving Sentiments. The sentiment was white embossed onto a Parchment Cardstock.

The same cardstock was used for the front panel, which I splattered with Pure White Ink Spray for additional interest.
