BUILD-A-GARDEN: SWEET LILIES
I used a bold floral card featuring the new Build-A-Garden: Sweet Lilies and using a technique I hadn’t used for a while.
First, I stamped the Lily bouquet onto a white cardstock panel using Jet Black Ink. After that, the bouquet was colored using the Build-A-Garden: Sweet Lilies Color Layering Stencil. I’ve opted for red and blue inks to do the coloring. To add some depth to some elements I used inks of two shades to color one element (one base color and a darker one applied towards the element base part).
I also added some highlights using a white gel pen.
After the coloring part was finished I die-cut a mask out of Masking Paper using the Build-A-Garden: Sweet Lilies Add-on Die Set, applied it onto the flower element, and colored the area around it using the Jet Black Ink Pad.
First, I simply swiped the inkpad along the panel to apply as much ink as possible. Then, I smoothed out the applied ink by ink blending with the Ink Blending Tool.
After removing the mask I still had white areas around the floral element. Which I filled in using a black marker.
I also added the Pure White Ink Spray splatters onto the panel for additional interest.
After that, the panel was foam mounted onto a white card base.
I made the sentiment pieces using stamps from the Build-A-Garden: Sweet Lilies, which I stamped in blue-and-black ombre and then die-cut using dies from the Build-A-Garden: Sweet Lilies Add-on Die Set.
The sentiment was popped up onto the card, finishing it off.
CRAFT-A-FLOWER: STARGAZER LILY
My second card features the awesome Craft-A-Flower: Stargazer Lily Layering Die Set and follows the same design choice as the first one.
I opted for the same color combo for the floral element, as well as selected the black background to place it on.
The Lily flowers were die-cut out of pink cardstock and then dept and dimension were added by ink blending red inks onto them. Additionally, I sprayed all the elements with water to make the ink blending move and add some texture. I also added black dots onto the petals using a black pen, following the embossed design created by dies.
I assembled the flowers by stacking and adhering the corresponding layers using liquid adhesive.
The leaves were made in the same manner – die-ut out of blue cardstock, ink blending was used to color them, and spraying with water added some dimension.
To make the background I sprayed the Pure White Ink Spray through the Sunburst Stencil onto a Jet Black Cardstock panel.
The panel was foam mounted onto a white card base. Followed by adhering the layered die-cut elements onto it, forming a floral cluster.
A sentiment stripe finished off the card.
MINI DELIGHT: WATERCOLOR CLUSTER
The third card features a cute floral Mini Delight: Watercolor Cluster Stamp & Die Set, as well as the same design choice as the first two cards. At the point when I started working on this card I simply wanted to materialize it in the same design.
I stamped and die-cut all elements using the stamps and dies from the mini delight set.
After that, I adhered them onto a Jet Black Cardstock panel forming kind of a floral line in the top third of the panel. The panel was foam mounted onto a white card base after that.
Next, I made a sentiment using the Versatile Greetings Die Set. I die-cut both parts of the sentiment out of a white cardstock and ink blended blue ombre onto the top one.
After that, I assembled the sentiment and popped it up onto the card.
Several enamel dots from the Red Sunset and Lapis Lazuli Enamel Dots Sets finished off the card.
