EASY FLORAL CARD

I used an amazing In The Woodland Bundle and inks from the new Jewel Tones Crisp Dye Ink Set to make an easy Thinking of You card.

The stamp set includes two very beautiful floral clusters, I used one of them for my card and the coloring was just a breeze with the Simple Coloring Stencil Set.

I used the Mini Blending Brush Set for coloring, the brush size is perfect for stencil coloring.

The background I made by first slightly blending Green Opal Crisp Dye Ink onto a white panel using the Large Blending Tool. Secondly, I added another layer of the same ink blending through the Grid Stencil. Some water splatters were added for additional interest.

I wrapped green jute twine around the panel and tied a bow before popping up the floral onto it.

To make the sentiment strip I white embossed a stamp from the Thinking Of You Stamp Set onto white cardstock and colored it with the Green Onyx Dye Ink to match the floral element.

STUNNING STARFLOWERS

For my second card, I used the new Stunning Starflower Bundle as well as some new and old inks.

The Stunning Starflowers is a beautiful layered floral stamp set, a very easy one to work with. The corresponding die set contains matching dies for the flower as well as embossed leaves and word dies. The Tanzanite and Orange Sorbet are new dye inks I used for the card.

I stamped the flowers using the Orange Sorbet, Peach Perfect, Sunkissed, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze Dye Inks.

The leaves were die-cut out of white and navy cardstock using dies from the Stunning Starflowers Die Set. The white leaf die-cuts I then colored by blending the Tanzanite Dye Ink onto them.

I used the same Tanzanite Dye Ink to make the ink blended background as well as the sentiment strip.

The Thank You Builder Stamp Set was used to make the sentiment. As for the previous card I white embossed it onto a white strip and then colored it by swiping the ink pad all over it. 

COLORFUL TREES

My last card is a holiday one. A rare blog post at this time of year is not featuring at least one holiday card, am I right?

Although the new Tree Mix Die Set I used to make it can be used any season really. It’s very fun and versatile, contains 12 dies that can be mixed and matched, can be used separately or layered to create a big variety of different trees.

I created a bunch of one and two-layer trees of different colors. The top color of two-layer ones I made white. This design is an opportunity to use up at least some of those color cardstock leftovers we all save and store for years (at least I do).

After I made all trees I adhered them onto a light blue panel. Followed by popping up the sentiment which I made using a stamp from the All Is Bright Stamp Set.

The Pure White Ink Spray splatters were added for a more holiday feel. Lastly, I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
