FAUX EMBROIDERY ON LINEN BACKGROUND

I really like fabric backgrounds and the new Organic Linen 3D Embossing Folder got me excited when I saw it in the release product list. I made a card imitating embroidery look.

I used the folder to emboss am apple green cardstock panel. After embossing I run the same panel through a die cutting machine with a shim of several folder paper sheet to flatten it out a bit. The texture still was there, but I needed a bit more flatten surface to do white embossing on top.

Which I did using the Fresh Cut Roses Stamp Set.

Next I torn the bottom and top edges of the panel and wrapped a green twine around the bottom part of it tying a bow. After that I popped up a sentiment strip above the twine.

Lastly I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

SLIMLINE ART DECO

The new Slim Deco Cover Die Set is perfect to make a Art Deco card. I used Gold Mirror Cardstock along with cardstock sheets of  two shades of blue to die cut elements of the card.

Since the Slim Deco Cover dies are rather intricate I used adhesive sheets applied to the back of cardstock sheets before die cutting. It allowed me to adhered them later absolutely hustle free.

I used die cut inlay to create the front panel, inlaying he gold die cuts into the corresponding rectangle openings of the blue panels. And then in turn tiny blue pieces were inlaid into the gold die cut openings.

I gold embossed the sentiment in the middle of the front panel. which then was foam mounted onto a blue slimline card base.

EASY FOILED MARBLE BACKGROUND

My last card features a new awesome washi tape – Foiled Marble. I paired it with another beautiful one to create this very quick and easy card.

I adhered the marble washi onto a white panel to make the background. I didn’t cover the bottom third of the panel to leave space for the sentiment. I also added the Golden Trim below the marble for more finished look.

Then I adhered the floral washi onto a 80lb white cardstock and cur them out. After that I adhered them onto the panel. Which then was stamped with the sentiment and foam mounted onto a white card base.

Several gold sequins finished off the card. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
