Hi friends!
Today I want to share a delicate tone on tone die cut card featuring this month’s Spellbinders Large Die Of The Month – Geometrical Floral Frames.
This set has two modern geometrical frame dies and several floral elements.
CARDS
I made two cards using this kit with a similar design idea in different color schemes. For both cards I chose a Gold Mirror Cardstock.
For my first card I choose a dark blue card base, white and pink flowers and green leaves.
For the sentiment I used the Yana’s Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set. First I hot foiled it onto a blue cardstock using the Champagne Glimmer Hot Foil and die-cut it with the matching die.
Then I made two more die-cuts of the same die out of a Gold Mirror Cardstock and adhered them under the blue one shitfing one gold die cut to the left and top and another – to the right and bottom. This way I fot kind of a gold frame around the blue die cut which avoided it from blending with the card base of the same cardstock. I popped up the sentiment onto the card using black adhesive foam squares.
For my second card I used a pink card base, red and blue flowers and white and blue leaves and branches.
The sentiment I did bu hot foiling another sentiment from the Yana’s Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set using the Champagne Glimmer Hot Foil onto a red cardstock and die cutting it with the matching die.
