PROJECTS
I made four cards using the new products.
QUICK AND EASY FLORAL CARD
I used a very bold and beautiful, bright and colorful Fuchsia Soiree Paper Pack for my card. This pack has a lot of artsy floral images on one side and beautiful color wash backgrounds on another.
I started making the card by first fussy cutting a couple of floral images out of one sheet of the paper. Then I adhered those cuts onto a fuchsia watercolor background sheet and cut out the border around the floral cuts. After that I adhered them onto a pane I made out of another floral sheet from the pack. This fuchsia background I made around my cuts helped them not to blend completely with the background.
Next I adhered another fuchsia watercolor background from the pack onto a white card base followed by adhering the floral panel on top. I finished my card by adhering a sentiment from the Thank You Builder Stamp Set which I stamped using the Razzleberry Dye Ink and hand cut using my scissors.
BOLD FLORAL CARD
For my next card I used the new Fabulous Florets Stamp Set and I went with quite non traditional colors (as for floral images) for this card.
I stamped the flowers using blue inks, leaves using the fuschia colors and I was using black ink to stamp the elements outlines. I was stamping onto a white cardstock and after stamping I die cut all elements using the matching dies. Then I traced the white die-cut using a black marker.
Next I made a fuchsia panel by blending the Razzleberry Dye Ink onto a white cardstock. I added interest by spraying it with water and then adding black splatters on top. After that I adhered all elements onto the card and foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
Next I popped up the sentiment, which I made using a stamp from the Thank You Builder Stamp Set stamped using the Azurite Dye Ink and hand cut using my scissors. Lastly I added several clear droplets to finish off the card.
FLORAL MUSIC NOTES CARD
I really like the new Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set. It’s packed with musical symbols. Staff, bar lines, clefs, notes and sentiments that go with them. I made a simple (almost) clean and simple card using this set.
First I stamped the Happy Birthday To You melody in black onto a white panel. Then I masked some areas and stamped floral images from the Frosted Garden Stamp Set. After that I stamped the sentiment in black.
Lastly I adhered the panel onto a fuschia card base and added several sequins to finish off the card.
TREBLE CLEF
Usually I tend to leave my favorite card for the very end. My last one is my fave from the set. Here I used the same as above Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set along with the Treble Clef Die from the Treble Love Die Set.
First I stamped some music notation onto a white cardstock and then die cut the treble out of it. I also die cut it out of a black cardstock 6 timed and then stacked all die cuts using a liquid adhesive.
I also stamped the Happy Birthday To You melody onto a white cardstock and trimmed it into two strips.
Next I blended the Razzleberry Dye Ink onto a white panel, slightly sprinkled it with water to add a “velvety” look and foam mounted it onto a white card base.
Then I adhered the melody strips and the treble onto the card which finished it off.
